Ancestral Writing Workshop & Community Altar

Join us in creating a community altar & connecting with your ancestors through writing, in honor of Dia de los Muertos.  

ANCESTRAL WRITING WORKSHOP
Death Doula and grief worker, Jen Venegas, will guide you in celebrating your loved ones who have passed on. We will be responding to curated writing prompts designed to connect you with your ancestors. 

Please bring a journal, your favorite pen and an item to leave on our community altar.  

COMMUNITY ALTAR
From Friday, October 17th to Saturday, November 8th, we will be creating our community altar in the store. You are welcome to drop in and leave a photo or item to celebrate loved ones on the altar, even if you cannot come to our event.

Please know that any personal photo or item not picked up by end of the day on Saturday, November 15th, will be gently disposed of.

All are welcome, regardless of background or ethnicity.
$5-20 suggested donation
